Whoa. A little off-topic, but I just found out I won Best Novella at Sakura Con 2004! They were a little disorganized at this year's Con about the Fanfiction Contest, but just knowing I won gives me a gratification I've only felt once before. >_<

If anyone remembers the fic, it was for Aftermath, a fic speaking of post-Episode26 in Witch Hunter Robin. I'm actually surprised that they liked this one better than the other one I submitted, but then, "Slit Her Throat" dealt to specifically with Dorothy, and it needed some tightening at the corners.

But... yay! I'm allowing myself a few moments of pure basking.

Even without any prizes, I feel a giddy sense of 'well, I finally got to this point.'
