I had a really odd moment. I was reading fic and then I suddenly found myself wishing that there was some vague form of happiness for Severus Snape. I keep thinking about the first five years in the series and then this sixth year and it really kind of, well, sucks ARSE.

He just doesn't get a break, does he?

I KNOW! It's just... he can be a bastard all he likes but everyone needs some vague form of happiness. Even if it's just about being evil. If he at least wanted to kill Dumbledore (which he didn't OMG COME ON FANDOM DON'T BE STUPID!) he would have been slightly pleased afterwards. Now it's just dark. All around.

I like the dark, honest, but sometimes I think Rowling is just wringing as much angst as she possibly can from him. I wouldn't be surprised if I went into hystronics at the end of book 7 because I just can't imagine it ending well for him... though I try, I try.
