1980's was the Molly Ringwald heyday, and I still love those movies of hers. Sixteen Candles is my ultimate favourite among the lot. It may end up with a somewhat terrible message for teenage girls, but it's the one ending people secretly wish. The awkward, dorky, shy girl gets the totally hot bastard while the hot, slightly out-of-her-mind rich bitch gets the awkward, geeky, sex-obsessed boy. Ah. Adolescence.
