Due to the fabulous and wonderful akujunkan I now have a kickass Japanese-English electronic dictionary that is dead useful. I've been playing with it on and off for the last few days and let me say; I don't know how I could have lived without it before. Seriously, whenever I have a language issue, all I have to do is punch in the English word and ooh, out pops the Japanese translation. Even better? I studied Japanese with it and it makes me feel all woozy in happiness. =) Am so in love with it I wish I could marry my gorgeous Canon Wordtank G55 Electronic Dictionary, you slim sexy silver thing, you.

More geeky stuff:

I've also been playing with LibraryThing which is totally wicked. Warning - you will get addicted to it if you're a bibliophile like me. I literally spent hours combing it over and adding more books and trust me, half the fun is in the organizatoin like, hm, how should I organize my fifty volumes of Harry Potter books or hey I have three different versions of Fight Club, let's put them all in.

LibraryThing is love. ♥

In yet another example of how seriously slow I can be, I just discovered the autosummary function. I summarized a bunch of my fics and I nearly choked at my desk as I went down laughing.

I read so much fic and yet I review and rec so little of it.

I am a poor member of fandom.

The Library Thing is neat but I'd just have to buy a lifetime account to catalog my books and can't really afford it at this point. ^_^*

Without looking at any of my lists of books, just off the top of my head, I'm up to 70 in about 30 minutes...so yea, gonna bust that 200 mark real quick. ^_^*

And ten dollars nets you a yearlong membership which makes it even cheaper than livejournal. I haven't purchased the lifelong one yet, but I probably will once I go through my three month waiting period. I like to wait three months with the free trial before signing up for something I may or may not use; streamload comes to mind. ;)
