Harry is so going to need a therapist after the seventh book is out.

Sirius' death is sad - though terrible and sad for those who liked/loved him - but my attention is more focused on Harry and Remus. And on a wavelength, Dumbledore and Snape too. Their reactions to Sirius death was both expected and bizarre. The first rxn most have to the fact that Remus is almost... calm, is disturbing at first, but considering his nature and the fact that he's spent nearly his whole life hiding secrets, undoubtedly, he could swallow his own grief in order to be there for Harry.

I see many, many Remus-introspective fics on the horizon.

Sirius' death is going to arouse a mass mourning, the likes that have never been seen before. It's going to be like when Nuriko died in episode 33 for Fushigi Yuugi. People poured their sorrow out into fics that centered around that fateful ep, and nearly every author has a tentative go at it.

The moment Sirius' dies... I wonder what went through his head? It was slightly fitting that he died protecting Harry and died taunting the enemy. Did anyone feel it?

And for Snape/Sirius ships - what effect will this have, especially since Harry now hates Snape with an unfettered hatred? *thoughtful* Would Snape have yet another burden to handle? The wishes of a dead lover? Would he be able to view Harry objectively, especially with the poisonous thought that it was Harry's fault? The possibilities are endless.

I love Luna Lovegood. I mean, I LOVE her. She completely is worthy of my adoration and obsession. I know a lot of people think she's totally off her rocker and somewhat of a different version of Trelawney, but I am just in LOVE with her for so many reasons. Well... I think RL people will know exactly why I like her so much. Weird, tactless, wacky, dreamy... I have ideas for her. And they involve Pansy Parkinson. Heh heh heh heh.

More later.

And Tom, if you're interested. *wink*

And I think Luna Lovegood would be an excellent odd friend of Pansy's. An epic could be made right there.

I love Luna too, but I'm more for Luna/Harry. I loved her from the start, her and Tonks. I see Tonks/Lupin on the horizon. I agree, the reaction of Sirius' death was quite bizarre. It's like no one cared, except Harry. And then Dumbledore was criticizing him about Kneazle right in front of Harry, I mean, who does that when someone just died? And Ron and Hermione seemed just fine...and Lupin, yeah, he didn't say anything. I'm soo confused.

*nods* Ya, Luna was awesome. I'm so in love with her. She's mine. I claim her. *grabs her and does unmentionables to her*

I don't think so. *stands fast* You can't have Pansy AND Luna, Demy-chan. She's... mine. *laughs her ass off quite insanely*
