My laptop obviously hates me. When I try to copy files onto CD, it refuses and sticks its tongue out at me. When I do what ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
flamika and antenora tell me to do (which was the exact same thing!), it listens quietly and is obedient to every command.
There is a funny world out there, and I'm not a part of it.
But! Now I know how to get the files onto CD! Yay! It carries much more information, which may be why people are switching... but they're not much more covenient or lighter, if that was the specific reason.
Argh.
Alrighty; off to work on homework.

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR! The Lunar Year of the Monkey is upon us tonight, and tomorrow will be filled with celebration and love and happiness... and yeah. Because my sister isn't returning to Washington until Thursday, we're moving the dinner from Chinese New Year's Eve to Chinese New Year itself, though it's almost always the Eve that we celebrate.
And the Secret I've been dying to tell everyone? Thursday or Friday, depending on how forthcoming the invitee is going to be about it all.
