Fruits Basket! So beautiful, so wonderful, and oh so angsty! If you're an angst-whore, you have to get into this series. The best thing is that the comedy and angst are so well-balanced that it works better than even Harry Potter. >_<
And Akito is my absolute favourite character (well, besides Kagura and Ritsu). He's pretty much unlikeable, but he's like the most perfect anime character ever created!
... a little like Snape (though no where as old) actually. =P
The anime is a finished series at 26 eps, and the manga is currently at Volume 14 and running still.
