demeter918I've been trawling through different flists lately, to see how different anime, manga, HP, etc, are viewed in different channels of the same fandom. It's actually really interesting, so if you're into writing about society online (like I am occasionally), then it's a treat to see how people view the same event, picture, fic, group *goes on and on*.
There's the anti-Gryffindors, the anti-Slytherins, the anti-women, the anti-men, the anti-het, the anti-slash, the pro-het, the pro-slash, the pro-women, the pro-men, the pro-Slytherins, the pro-Gryffindors... notice the trend? It's hard to find 'neutral' journals. If ever. Neutrality isn't much fun, I suppose.
Anyways!
I'm waiting for Bleach 13, Fruits Basket 15, Demon Ororon 3, Detective Conan 44, 45, 46, 47, Samurai Deeper Kyo 27, Nana 9, Naruto 22, 23, and a bunch of shoujo manga titles that will never see light in the US due to skewed distributors. I love shoujo manga and I'm always depressed to know that many of them won't be seen. But I guess that's the economical move, since most of them are based in the Japanese school system, and that has a limited appeal. *thoughtful* Maybe the ones that are about young adult women or the ones focused on the workplace... hm.
FRUITS BASKET!
I got the artbook I've been dying to get since I saw it at Sakura-Con. It's absolutely gorgeous. I remember flipping through it at SC, and there was at least one good picture of Akito, so I plan on scanning that to post on![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)

Am finished with the screencaps from eps 1 and 2 of Fruits Basket. And I'm actually almost finished with the Akito fic! As soon as I add a few finishing touches, I'll be revealing it. Oh, my stomach just clenched in anxiety. I haven't felt that nervous about posting a fic in a long time.
Kakashi/Akito - they would not be able to kiss very easily. Or at all. 0_0 Maybe a lot of fondling.
PRINCE OF TENNIS!
Ever since I read the Kirihara/Fuji tennis battle, I can't get Kirihara out of mind. He's absolutely awesome. I really love his eyes and his hair for some reason; it's driven all of Seigaku out of my mind and has firmly cemented my attachment to Rikkai. Very odd. And I still love Mizuki. Yes; I do certainly like the more extreme characters of the manga.

hp_survivor. I wish there could be more, but circumstances worked against them in the end, and they got the bad roll of the dice. Well, if they're lucky, maybe the Gryffs will vote off someone *cough*Sirius*cough* other than the two of them. Hopefully. Doubtfully, but hopefully. =P
