I'm a little upset; which is an understatement of sorts. Florida is, apparently, being predicted to go to Bush though there are over a million absentee votes not counted yet. Interesting.
Ohio. I really, really, really hate that state right now. This will assuredly pass as I get over my numbing shock and disgust.
Washington? Wonderful - we went Kerry. However, it looks like we're going to be stuck with a Republican Governor. This sounds just a tad bit like a trade-off. A rather lousy trade-off, especially since it looks like Kerry has been utterly destroyed by the lying, cheating, stealing jackasses who voted for Bush. Yes, that means some of you on my flist. Upset? Think I'm overreacting? Hey. Think about this. Some of you talk about how the life in the womb is important because all life is sacred. Hypocritical much? Due to the war, over a hundred thousand Iraqi's have died. Where, may I ask, is their 'sacred life'? Where, may I ask, are those children who are completely and utterly innocent? Or is it because you have to be American (and preferably white) to have any importance? How about the civil liberties that will be taken away? How about women's rights? How about HUMAN RIGHTS?
I'm probably going to regret some of what I said - especially about the 'jackass' part since these jackasses are some of my closest friends - but considering the things at stake for this election, I'll stand by what I say right now. You know who you are. If you're offended by what I said *shrug* too bad. I think you made a mistake for voting Bush. Call me a jackass for voting Kerry. Maybe I am. Maybe I'm being too 'liberal' or too 'bleeding heart' or too 'close-minded' or too 'invested' or too 'narrow' or too 'anti-freedom'. Yes, it was your choice. Yes, it was due to your own beliefs and so-called morals. But why oh why do you have to push them on us? Why can't one of us make the choice? If we're going to go hell for supporting gay marriage and abortion then let us choose to go to hell. Make your own choice but don't make ours for us!
I've been eating cream puffs, truffles, and pepperoni sticks. It looks like Bush is bad for my diet. -_-
My head hurts. I started literallysmashing knocking it against wood for good luck.
