My beliefs have been proven fact. Only immature fans will dislike a female simply because she might be in the way of her 'so favourite' male couple. So ha hah. I feel terribly vindicated and justified for a dance of jubliance right now. And if I may say so myself, I feel a wee bit of smug arrogance.

*cuddles Relena and Amelia and Dorothy and Ryoko and Faye and Meryl and many, many others* I do think I may like the women better than the pretty, pretty men. Interesting. I always thought I was the bishonen type of girl. Hm.

One stray thought that's been bugging me lately:

By terming gay fics and such as slash or yaoi or shonen ai or yuri, isn't that essentially cloaking the blatant truth with a safer, more amiable version? I can't really puzzle it out in my head, but I'm inclined to agree; it's just that calling it 'gay' fanfiction is awkward (in my ears) and slash just flows better. Kind of like calling 'fucking', 'making love'.
