Nov. 6th, 2003 09:01 amI'm a little sick - probably a small cold - but otherwise, my midterms went off without a hitch, I received two papers back and have received A's on both, and I'm getting my third one returned today (I get my last one next week. I think. Unless the professor is superhuman and can grade forty midterms in two nights) which I anticipate a satisfying score. (I hope)
I was going to stay in bed tomorrow to recover, but it turns out I can't, since I have to take my car in for the thirty-thousand mile checkup, and it would be more time-saving if I just used the car alloted to me during their four-hour tuning to take my grandma grocery shopping, which usually whittles away two or three hours. Aftwards, I can take her home, come back, stop at the mall to spend my certificate (which expires Sunday), and then come and get the car. It'll be a productive day, even if I feel rather wretched.
Surprisingly enough, I'm actually keeping up with my swimming schedule - two times a week, plus a day (sometimes randomly selected) to do some walking. I've been thinking about starting to visit some mountain trails and becoming one with nature. >_< How corny that sounds. ^_____^
After finishing Frankenstein (which I liked no better than I did in high school), we're reading Oliver Twist now. I like this novel best of all of Dicken's novels (excepting Tale of Two Cities).
So hungry...
