(no subject)

My laptop is screaming at me.

I had to clean out a small file from my compute a few days ago due to a worm clinging to it and refusing to be repaired. It was one of those Korgo things - I've learned quite a bit about firewalls and virus scans in the ensuing two days. And I've also learned to never think, "oh, it'll only be for a few hours - it's not like I'll be online constantly - the firewall can wait!"

So everything works perfectly. Except. My laptop screen won't light up. Which means I'm shining a flashlight at my screen so I can just barely make out everything. The file I deleted was called ftpupd.exe (I think). Is that what caused my laptop to be act like this?

I knew I shouldn't have deleted that file. It was quarantined after all... darn it!
