akujunkan I now have a kickass Japanese-English electronic dictionary that is dead useful. I've been playing with it on and off for the last few days and let me say; I don't know how I could have lived without it before. Seriously, whenever I have a language issue, all I have to do is punch in the English word and ooh, out pops the Japanese translation. Even better? I studied Japanese with it and it makes me feel all woozy in happiness. =) Am so in love with it I wish I could marry my gorgeous Canon Wordtank G55 Electronic Dictionary, you slim sexy silver thing, you.
More geeky stuff:
I've also been playing with LibraryThing which is totally wicked. Warning - you will get addicted to it if you're a bibliophile like me. I literally spent hours combing it over and adding more books and trust me, half the fun is in the organizatoin like, hm, how should I organize my fifty volumes of Harry Potter books or hey I have three different versions of Fight Club, let's put them all in.
LibraryThing is love. ♥
In yet another example of how seriously slow I can be, I just discovered the autosummary function. I summarized a bunch of my fics and I nearly choked at my desk as I went down laughing.
I read so much fic and yet I review and rec so little of it.
I am a poor member of fandom.
