WOW I AM SLOW
Nov. 6th, 2008 01:22 pmThe elections really did a number on me because I literally JUST found out that David Tennant is stepping down as the Doctor and the Fifth series will, essentially, be with a new cast, new head, practically new everything.
HOW DID I NOT SEE THIS?
OH YEAH. I didn't check my flist.
(I read an article that said Billie Piper might be the Doctor and while I love her, I hope not, because I'd like her to remain Rose in the show.)
Though, at this point, I'd be kind of glad to have a new Doctor. Not that I don't like David Tennant, but with Davies changing, with the producers changing, it seems appropriate to have a new Doctor too. Plus, Davies' love for 9/10/Rose will kind of always stay in this nice little bubble.
... we still have a Christmas special and three specials ahead in the next year, so it's not like it's the end of seeing Tennant!Doctor.
I still can't believe I didn't hear about this for almost TWO WEEKS. THIS IS REALLY SAD. Clearly, I have to get back into LJworld.
