Someone reminded me a while ago that though I don't mean to, this journal becomes very... how shall I say, fannish. Which means that things that happen in Real Life (such as books I read, movies I see, things I do) are often set aside for gushing over Snape, talking about anime, talking about manga, writing fic, and so on and so forth. I don't think this is necessarily bad, but reading back on older entries, I tend to talk about real life only if it's bothering me, which is a terrible message to pass on. =P
So I'll try to put more things like movies I've seen, books I've read, foods I've eaten (
gopunk, I'm looking at you).
So I saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Strangely attracted to Violet Beaudegarde. =P And the whole scene wit Veruca Salt where they pretend to be bestest friends is frickin' awesome because it's so true about little girls. Johnny Depp. 0_0
Saw War of the Worlds. Liked it. Just ignore it's Tom Cruise. Also, I have thing for father and daughter stories (well, I have a thing for parent and children stories in general) and this was done well in relation to that.
I wanted to see The Island but I won't be able to until it comes out on tape here. Movies are really expensive in Japan. Apparently, it's about twenty bucks at night in the good theatres, though I'm not sure what that means.
Organizing a fourth HP movie outing. =P
