So late, but sometimes I like doing that. JUST TO SHAKE THINGS UP.

Or, rather, I just forgot to post a review. Ha.

I came into this episode half-expecting to loathe it but you know what? I liked it. Oh, I have my own complaints about it, but I've watched it twice now and I find myself smiling over a lot of small things.

First, I suppose the biggest issue is Jenny herself. I think the trailer made out out to be a lot more obnoxious and bratty than she really was. She was awfully cute and her enthusiasm the moment the Doctor said she could go with them? OMG, DEAD FROM THE CUTE. I loved Georgia Moffet!

There were some truly lovely moments, including the Doctor telling her she didn't have to kill anyone, that she had a choice, the moment they found out she had two hearts, the mouse distracting the guard, Donna trying to use her feminine wiles, the Doctor telling her to save it for, uh, emergencies, Donna noticing all the numbers, Martha totally kicking ass and not letting anyone bullying her into not doing her duty as a Doctor, the aerial flip of Jenny through the lasers, Jenny all excited about traveling with the Doctor (cute as a button!), dude, this episode was all about moments and character rather than the story.

Cause the story was complete bullcock, but with Doctor Who, I don't actually expect much different now. ;) I just take it as it is and have fun; we have our monster-of-the-week and we have our story-based episodes. That's good enough for me.

I'm really disappointed about what they did to Martha though. Seriously, they separated her and the Doctor almost immediately and then while she showed that she was, above all, a doctor in her own right, and that she has a will of her own, I felt like they'd cheapened it a bit. I don't know, I'm not describing it very well. Either way, I guess, I just think they shafted her, just a bit. I know she's coming back for at least one of the finale episodes, so we'll see what she does then.

I, for one, am looking forward to the meeting between Rose and Martha. Martha spent most of S3 looking into the Doctor's face and see him seeing someone else. She was constantly competing with this mythnical Rose!ghost that everyone seemed to love. Jack loves her, the Doctor loves her, she's saved the world twice over and has a Time Lord moping over her. For Martha, Rose is less human and more legend.

Which is why their meeting is going to be awesome. Contrary to what's expected of them to do, I totally think they're going to bond. Hopefully.

Ugh. I don't know. I hope RTD knows what he's doing.

As for Donna. Seriously; this could become the Donna Noble Show, and I'd probably still watch it.
