Like, I said, I agree with people who feel the ending was contrived. But overall, I really, really liked the book. It's not perfect, certainly, but it meant something to me.
When I first heard it was being made into a movie, I couldn't think of how it might have been done, but then I saw the cover of the book, with Viggo's profile and it did work. I think it was the wrinkles. Definitely the wrinkles.
