I won't really miss you, but for about four years, I was in love with your show.
It's the very last night of ER tonight and nostalgia alone would have me watching it, but woe, I shall be on a flight to DC so I won't be able to see most of it. I'll have to watch it later, along with the one hour long reflection. (Which I really did want to see; nothing like sappy memories to get the nostalgia juices flowing!) I haven't watched any of this season, though I keep meaning to. Everything and everyone kept reminding me, though, that it was the very last season of ER. Stop it. I feel enough guilt as it is.
Though seriously, I do kind of miss the old ER. I miss Carter and Lucy and Doug and Mark and Weaver and ABBY (predrama... well, baby drama) and everyone. I do like the rotating new cast members form, oh, season 10 onwards, but sometimes they left so quickly, it wasn't much fun to watch them.
(Though, on an aside, Morris is one of my favorite characters, like ever. He's so wonderfully dorky.)
I'm also glad about Neela. I've been reading spoilers for ER (I know, I know) and I know what happens to her. And I'm glad. It's a good ending and something I actually didn't quite expect. Plus. I love them. So yay, plus.
As soon as this season is finished, I'll probably watch the whole thing at one time and get that ER rush. And I'll get to see all the guest stars (so many!) all at once.
Love you ER, hope you live in good DVD heaven.
(P.S. I lied. I totally will miss you, you scurvy medical whatsits)
