( Akito and Shigure )It's amazing, but all sorts of manga are being released in the US now. It's a bit... what's the word? Weird, I guess. There are titles making it over that I *never* thought would be released. A very good example is
Kimi ha Pet which is an interesting shoujo manga laced with a very good plot. Imagine finding out your boyfriend cheated on you. Imagine being demoted at work. Imagine finding a homeless (one who's very cute of course, but that's not the point) guy on the street. Would
you take him home as a pet? *grin* That's the premise and anymore will spoil it. But that's the point! This could be considered an obscure manga (though I heard it was made into a popular series in Japan), and it's coming over!
*jumps up and down*
( New manga to Watch: )Though I was actually smack-dab in the middle of Disney World when I was in Florida for Nimbus2003, I didn't actually
go to Disney World or any of the surrounding theme parks. My mom still thinks it's rather funny and ironic that I was staying in one of the largest corporate entertainment centers, but I was absorbed by a seroes that was not only unaffiliated with Disney, but probably was one of the biggest competitors in the venue of 'kids'. *grin*
But this time, I'm going to enjoy the dubious pleasures of Disney and all else. My old roommate roped me into going with her after she called me up and declared she couldn't stand spending another week at home with her family and boyfriend. To be honest, after this quarter, I need a break. My mind's acting like fried onions and I'm a little tired of family - they're great most of the time now, but my grandmother is pretty demanding, and I think I need to act like a teen again. My mom is sensing this, because she's offered to pay for my plane ticket and hotel bill, though I really should be paying for it on my own... hmph. Well, the trip's booked with nonrefundable *wince* tickets and I leave the 21st of March. ^_^ Yay!
