I just happened to read some random Card Captor Sakura fics. I also happened to read some random HP fics.

Wow.

Fic Recs:

Anathema by Midnight Strike
Lily/Snape. I'm no fan of Lily/Snape fics, so I was surprised when I took a gamble and read her fic. Her other work is exquisite, and completely hidden away. But for some reason, I found myself crying, even with the somewhat cheesy bits. I was crying for Lily and Snape and how they were all mixed up and then spit out bleeding.

Follow the Leader by Midnight Strike
Ginny/Charlie, hinted Ginny/Ron, Ginny/Tom. This is freaking beautiful and ethereal and the quality of the writing here is just top-notch. I absolutely love her work, even for the couples I don't necessarily enjoy. I really saw Ginny here, and I just trembled and twitched as I read the third part. 0_0

She's Losing It by Puck the Faerie
Gen. Absolutely wonderful fic. It's a bit too Freudian at times for my taste (literally), but since it chose to deal with one of my favourite, one of the least appreciated characters in the fandom... ^_^ Akizuki Nakuru is my particular love, and I think I'll take this love to the very end.

None, so far. It's only a prologue, but if we're lucky, she'll choose to continue on this fic. I adore well-written fics with Nakuru, so I was very pleased with this one. The interaction between Eriol and Nakuru... woot!

Heh heh. You'll like the Ginny/Charlie one. At first, I was a bit squicked too, but after the first chapter, I was utterly, utterly hooked. *sparkle* No other word for it!

I actually don't like Snape/Lily too much, but the way this one was written... >_<
