demeter918: blue doraemon cat (Akito - flamika - hilarious akki)
So do people think I should post in 'real time'. Should I change the clock on my computer and thus, actually post at the time I'm actually posting? It seems like a good idea, but I hate the idea of tinkering with my computer... add on the fact that I kindasorta want a watch to keep my up on the idea of what time it is in the US. But then again, all I have to do is add eight hours and go back a day.

Hm.

Decisions, decisions, decisions.

For those who have VCR's *gasp!* and spare tapes, anyone willing to record shows like Smallville, House, The OC (yes, really), and maybe ER? Random interesting things. Maybe CSI? This is way much to ask, but I feel like I'd go crazy if I couldn't watch those shows while they were going on... of if you know, where I could possibly dl the episodes to watch? I know you can; I've read about it enough on my flist, but I've never bothered to really look for it since I could just watch them on TV...

This would also be a good time for me to catch up on certain episodes that I missed last season.

I think I can get the Law and Order obsessee on my flist to record that one...

^^;; um, yeah.

Smallville is probably the one I want most.

And random award shows such as the MTV Music awards, the Emmy's, the Golden Globes, Oscars... though I'm guessing I could possibly watch it on Satellite in Japan, etc. etc.

Am I greedy? Oh my, yes.

Someone reminded me a while ago that though I don't mean to, this journal becomes very... how shall I say, fannish. Which means that things that happen in Real Life (such as books I read, movies I see, things I do) are often set aside for gushing over Snape, talking about anime, talking about manga, writing fic, and so on and so forth. I don't think this is necessarily bad, but reading back on older entries, I tend to talk about real life only if it's bothering me, which is a terrible message to pass on. =P

So I'll try to put more things like movies I've seen, books I've read, foods I've eaten ([livejournal.com profile] gopunk, I'm looking at you).

So I saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Strangely attracted to Violet Beaudegarde. =P And the whole scene wit Veruca Salt where they pretend to be bestest friends is frickin' awesome because it's so true about little girls. Johnny Depp. 0_0

Saw War of the Worlds. Liked it. Just ignore it's Tom Cruise. Also, I have thing for father and daughter stories (well, I have a thing for parent and children stories in general) and this was done well in relation to that.

I wanted to see The Island but I won't be able to until it comes out on tape here. Movies are really expensive in Japan. Apparently, it's about twenty bucks at night in the good theatres, though I'm not sure what that means.

Organizing a fourth HP movie outing. =P
