Yaoi manga fans, get ready to cheer!

Minase Masara and Takanaga Hinako are scheduled to debut in the US!

Minase Masara penned and drew one of my favourite single-volume stories of all time, "Empty Heart". It's US title is apparently going to be "Lies and Kisses", but who cares? It's coming, it's coming, and yes, it's coming. (no pun intended. really) And Takanaga Hinako has some of the best facial expressions in my opinion. Her characters are so sweet and airy and my favourite series by her is "Little Butterfly". But "Challengers" is also excellent.

=)

*crickets*

Well, I'm ready to cheer.

Complain, complain, complain.

I wanna go to The Witching Hour and I can't, obviously. I can't even make it to Yaoi-Con.

Wah wah wah wah wah wah wah.

Yeah, yeah, I want some cookies with that whine.

My first class in this Friday (yay!), but I've bumped into a minor quandary. MS Word provides a grossly inadequate number of fonts to work with. There are things I'd like to do when I'm creating worksheets: such as making block letters the students can color in if they choose, etc, etc. Also, some funny, crazy fonts would be desirable because I remember getting bored with worksheets because the teachers always used Arial or Helvetica and while they're not bad for writing papers and essays... trying to amuse thirty to forty 12-14 year olds commands a bit more of a challenge.

So.

How/where would I find fonts, how would I download them to my laptop (that uses Windows XP) and then how woudl I apply to my MS Words so I could actually use the blasted thing. =)

Thanks!

Shipping in the HP fandom is a dangerous line of work. It should come with non-negotiable insurance policies. So, you know, we could be claim damages and then get denied.

I was scrolling through communities and ff.net to find something to read during the slow afternoon hour in the office, and I've noticed that yes, Snape/Draco fics have multiplied tenfold. Quite a bit of it wasn't too interesting, but the Snape/Draco gen. Oh, wow. It's gorgeous, tight, and tense and I love the idea of Snape being furious, absolutely furious, with Draco and still risking as much as he possibly dared to keep him safe. Hits several of my fic buttons.

The number of Snape/Lupin fics seem to have increased too. That, I'm not really sure why. The fandom for Snape/Lupin has always been fairly steady but small. But I like it. =) More of my OTP to read about. I really should write it too, but I think my mad skillz in HP fics is deader than a dead horse.

Four boxes arrived today from the US! My teacher will be helping me get them home tomorrow evening. The sixth book is in one of those boxes! I can finally reread it!

I want to watch the new season of Smallville.
