I have my first two class today and my stomach just shriveled.

How do the teachers on my flist deal with this? This insane panic, the butterflies, the mini heart attacks?

I had a great two classes. Since it was the introduction class, I had a lot of involvement and that was wonderful. The first class had a few stumbles, but the second class, since it the exact same material, went off without a hitch and kids actually were excited about doing things. Awesome, awesome fun.

Now that my first day of classes (yeah, only two... I work considerably less than the rest of the teachers) are over. In reflection?

I'm going to have a fine year.
