old fandoms

I had a moment of such happiness today and it was over a very silly thing. I was browsing the Naruto section of FF.net when you know how you can go to the favorite fics of different authors and from there you can go to another author's favorite fics and on and on and it's like a chain? Well. Today, I was led back to the Sailor Moon and Rurouni Kenshin fandoms and it was wonderful.

I'd forgotten how much I loved Kaoru/Kenshin stories, how I adored the awkward romance of Misao and Aoshi and YES! MAMORU/USAGI! Serena and Darien! I'm grinning like a fool now because I just read all these cute, fluffy fics and they're so romantic and how did I ever let them go in the first place?

*cooes* I'd forgotten how much I'd adored Sailor Moon as a kid!
