Calling for Grammar Fiends!

My JTE has just asked me a question that I'm not sure of how to answer.

rise - rose - risen
partake - partook - partaken
rebind - rebound - rebound
run - ran - run
sink - sank - sunk

I know when to use each, but that's not the problem. She's looking for the specific, all-encompassing word for it and I don't quite know!

Tokyo and... Kanagawa?

It's a three-day weekend and I'm off to Tokyo and Kanagawa! I was originally slated to go to Chiba, but after some thinking, I thought I'd rather go to Kanagawa and Kamakura. Also, Japan's biggest Chinatown is in Yokohama and I just about had the shivers thinking about it!

Not too much shopping this time around since I'm going to Southeast Asia in the winter, and I need to, you know, make sure I get my ticket paid! =)

I was going to do Nikko too, but I think I'll do that World Heritage sight directly from Toyama someday rather than going there via Tokyo.
