I've written and deleted about six different posts about the 'gay rights meme' floating around and to be honest, I'm not sure of how to voice my hesitation with it. Most of you know I skip on the majority of the memes that float around, mostly because I can't be bothered half the time. Once in a while, a meme will strike my fancy and I'll do it... but not if it's basically saying that if I don't post the goddamn meme, it must mean that I'm homophobic. Bullshit. That seriously irritates me.
Luckily, there are others who say it much better.
So, for the record? I believe in human rights. Not gay rights.

Date: 2006-10-05 05:40 am (UTC)I see you've found my secret hiding place! I still haven't told anyone but you and Bunny; I think I'm going to ask for Bunny to keep it from other people, mostly because I'm starting to feel a bit weird about non-fandom people following my journal...
And yeah. It's in secret code. Secret code of the GEEK. XD
Have you seen House? An H/C shipper is a fan who really likes the House/Cameron relationship within the TV series. I think you'd really like it!
Ficcage is writing fics; basically, writing stories.
Meme - for example; grab the nearest book to you, turn to page fifty, go to the fourth sentence and post it in your blog. That's a meme. It's almost like a chain letter, except on blogs and without the stigma. I'll have to pull more examples. They can be tons of fun!
