LJ-look HELP

I understand basic things about making LJ pretty. Very basic.

I want my LJ to be pretty.

... can anyone help me? This is notable in the fact that I'm NOT EVEN SURE WHAT I'M SUPPOSED TO ASK FOR HELP ON.

Also, I need to completely revamp my travel blog on LJ. I've finally decided to get the blasted thing up and running again and I want a theme to it that my family will like. Like... sakura! Cherry blossoms!

*glomps* Oh, that would be AWESOME! I need all the help I can get! I don't mind it being simple, but I wanted something nice for my family and friends to read over while I'm (still) in Japan and I'm kind of tired of how plain my lj is. It never really bothered me before, but I think it's high time I had some fun with it!

you could do what I did and get a premade layout. All you need is to upload the banners and backround and headers to your own server and the rest is easy.

grrliz does very pretty layouts. She has a journal for them. I can't remember what it's called. the_fulcrum or thefulcrum maybe. thistlefics is using one of her layouts. Also, I think one of the layouts avaible to paid users has cherry blossoms.
