Holy shit.

I knew things were bad in Haiti, but I didn't realise they were that bad. The elite few that control the economy need to go back and study some real economics. Maybe throw some humanitarian studies in there as well.

Sigh. This is yet another thing that makes me wish I were sickeningly rich just so I could travel and try and do a little bit of good.

I know. I just read about Shell posting it's obscene amount of profit this year and I felt myself twitch because even a fraction of that would at least feed people so they wouldn't be eating mud.
