I think, picking up a series when it's about to enter it's memorable fourth season, was not the best thing I could have done.

Right this moment, I'm twitching and wondering about That Spoiler and what That Spoiler will have to do with the last three episodes of this season of Doctor Who.

That Spoiler is starting to make me daydream. NO SERIOUSLY. I am daydreaming in fanfiction. SOPPY FANFICTION.

... I am eternally shamed. Woe.

We'll be staying at Tamagawa University's guest house, which is actually in Machida. (http://www.tamagawa.dsu.edu/tamagawa.html) There's a jaunt to Kyoto and Nara about halfway through, but those are only for one day each. I'll only have about 2 full 'free' days to wander on my own, Sunday Jun 29th and Sunday July 6th. I was thinking of finding a way to the Studio Ghibli museum one of those days. ^____^ I'm such a dork. Have any suggestions for the other? Oh-Great-Japanese-Expert? *Snuggles close*

What's in Russia? Or Taiwan, for that matter, other than interesting culture and tv shows?

I probably should have posted about this in LJ since one of the biggest parts of my life (at this point) is finally wrapping up. After three years, countless explorations of Japan, I'm finally leaving! I have to be out of Japan by August 24th in order to get my free ticket home, but otherwise... yep. Ick, I should give you a call sometime or something. We totally need to chat.

What do you mean by only two free days? Does this mean you have school on Saturdays too? Ugh, I was totally thinking I could pay for your ticket to come up here to Toyama or something. You could take the night bus...

I actually have not been to the Studio Ghibli museum believe it or not! I'm looking at my schedule right now... I'm in charity show (playing gundam otaku!) so all the weekends up to the 21st are out for me since we'll have practice and the show. =( I wish I could introduce you to my friends here!

*Hugs* We have field trips on Saturdays, mainly, like Yokohama, Ueno, Akihabara, and so on. I wonder if I could back out one day...hmmm...if the ticket price isn't too bad, I'd pay it myself. Do you know what the cost is? Though, you sound like you're really busy... I'd totally stay longer, if I could, but they didn't let me buy my own plane tickets. And it looks like I'll be teaching immediately after returning, myself. My Japanese should be better, if nothing else!
