I kind of want to wail "noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo" but who knows? Maybe he'll do an amazing job. Maybe. I have a hard time seeing him as Spike and I'm now wondering who the hell is going to play Faye (oh, I hope they don't mess that up) and Jet. And Ed! I hope they get the perfect girl for Ed... like... um... okay. It's going to be hard to find someone to play Ed, but you know? Summer Glau of Firefly fame gave me a kind of long-legged, loose-limbed, eccentric air. Add hyperosity and a dash of tape, she could plausibly play a youngster? Maybe?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.

(*Sweet voice*) Can we say, "flop", boys and girls? Yes? I knew you could!

Keanu does two styles of acting fairly well: stupid and oblivious. While Spike can be rather passive and apathetic, he is no where close to stupid or oblivious. The only things I see going well for Keanu is 1) dark, messy hair and 2) martial arts background from The Matrix.

It's very surprising to me that they're even planning this when Dragonball has yet to premier. Oh well.

Oh jeez, you gave me a bit of hope with Summer Glau, I couldn't even BEGIN to think of how you could bring Ed to the big screen. But yes, someone with that feel could work. I'd be more than happy with them aging Ed a bit to go with Summer, too, she'd be perfect.
