demeter918I know I promised a long tale on my sordid adventures at Sakura-con, but I couldn't help it.
I've been thinking about love. *grin*
It's a word that's been used over and over and many times, it's cliche and boring. But I can't get my mind off of it of late. Meryl Stryfe and Vash the Stampede from Trigun keep coming to mind, though there doesn't seem to be any indication of much of a relationship there, the sentimental whore in me squeals whenever I see them together. Fics are very good. ^_^
Or the possibility of love between Faye and Spike (SO unlikely, but I darn it, I like the idea!). I just saw Cowboy Bebop: The Movie - Knockin' On Heaven's Door last night, and it was fucking incredibly. The animation was so fluid and seamless... the mini music video in the beginning was one of my favourite parts. Hee hee. So anyways, Faye inspires a lot of people to want to tie her up and do naughty things to her. *grin*
I just purchesed the first three DVD's of His and Her Circumstances (Kare Kano), and I'm planning to watch them... soon. I've read up to number 15 in the manga, and it's one of my absolute favourite manga's at the moment. Oddly enough, I had never even imagined they would make an anime out of it; it's not, after all, the usual material. Even more surprising was that the director for Evangelion was the one to do Kare Kano. Made me curious what it would be like. Very curious.
I've been hearing lots of good things about the Fruits Baskets anime, and I'm planning to wait until they all come out before watching it. The manga was very... sweet, if that's one word to describe it. *grin* And a lot of people rave about the anime, so I've decided to do an investment in that too.
I just got Dog Warriors! An anime based on an old Japanese legend. There's movie, from like the 1960's - essentially a cult movie now, but *grin* how I loved it.
Technically, I'm babbling right now. But Sakura-con post *next* time. I promise. And... er... I have to get the photo's developed... *winces* I hope I don't procrastinate like I did with my other photo's.
