I don't usually laugh wholeheartedly at a fic with my hand plastered over them to prevent the giggles from escaping, but I've been dragged through the engine!
Rhianwen. Her fics have me rolling on the ground (only metaphorically of course, because even this cliche has not escaped her sharp humour) convulsing. It's not just the characterization; it's her self-insertions and dead spot-ons of certain trends in different fandoms, like the love for Lina/Zel pairing in SlayersFandom, when it's pretty obvious that Lina/Zel will never happen in this reality. Or the peculiar love for Aeris/Sephiroth in a good chunk of the fandom, when I always thought that killing her by puncturing her chest with his masumune was pretty much a good way of ending any affections between the two. Or the fact that... well, read it yourselves. There's everything from FFVII to Chrono Trigger to Pong (for real) to Harry Potter to Slayers to more.
The writing isn't inordinately spectactular, but her humor more than made up for it. (To me at least.) ~_^
