They're not just mean... if they were just mean, I could deal with that. It's the fact that they're mean arrogant arseholes who don't give a flip for anyone beyond their little special circle. They're derisive about anyone who doesn't match up to their standards, they act like the whole world is their joke box, and they're seem to completely lack any ability to feel remorse for their actions. It's been bugging me since book 4, but I think it was the Montague thing in Book5 that really raised my hackles.
Do you see the twins playing any special role in Book 7? It seems to me that they have a lot to learn, but they also may have a lot to contribute, and I don't mean jokes or a light-hearted attitude. What bothers me most about them is their treatment of Ron. I know brothers are supposed to quarrel, etc. but they are really ugly to him and, though I don't dislike them as a pair, I wish they were nicer.
May I ask you one more question? What do you think about Charlie? The fact that he was only a passing note in Book 6 makes me wonder if we'll be seeing more of him in Book 7. He'll have to, at least, show up at Bill and Fleur's wedding. I wonder what exactly he's been up to...
